Ding, Ding, Ding! Main Event Time! 🎟️🔔
If there's one thing we know about the SEC, it's that they love a good cliffhanger. In their latest episode, the SEC has raised its regulatory eyebrow towards Binance and Coinbase. As much as I'd love to imagine them in a wrestling ring, I doubt any bodyslams were involved.
The SEC's concerns revolve around labelling a bunch of tokens as securities and calling out Coinbase staking as an investment contract. The crypto community is shaking its head, wondering if the SEC sees crypto as a villain in its superhero movie.
What's Gary Gensler's move in this chess game? Well, he's keeping mum about whether ETH is a security and questioning crypto's utility as currency. Meanwhile, us crypto-nerds are assembling like the Avengers, ready to express our concerns about the anti-crypto regulatory environment.

Etherscan: Your On-chain Detective 🕵️♂️❓
Lastly, let's talk about Etherscan's latest update: advanced filtering. Reading on-chain data just got easier than deciding to hit the snooze button in the morning.
🆕 Advanced Filter (Beta)
Refine your Ethereum transaction search with rich filters 🔍

Etherscan now allows users to hunt down specific data without wrangling SQL-esque queries. It supports a whole gamut of filters, including transaction type, function signature, age, from address, to address, amount, and asset type.
Whether you're curious about the amounts of ETH sent to a particular address, or you want to find when a specific event occurred, Etherscan's advanced filters make it a breeze.
However, as much as we love the new feature, we're greedy for more. Here's looking at Etherscan to add AND clauses on the from and to fields, more function signatures that are on the ABI, and custom amount filters.
Wrapping It Up 🎁💡
And that's a wrap, folks! From the high-stakes drama of crypto regulation to the thrilling advancements in the NFT universe, and the brilliant new tools for on-chain data – we've covered it all.
As we always say here at PoI, the world of tech is like an adrenaline-filled roller coaster, and we're here for the ride. Until next time, keep your seatbelts fastened and your spirits high.

TL;DR: 📕💤
The SEC is scrutinizing cryptocurrency exchanges, primarily Binance and Coinbase, with concerns around classifying certain tokens as securities and viewing Coinbase's staking as an investment contract.
Gary Gensler, head of the SEC, remains quiet on whether Ethereum (ETH) is a security, questioning instead the utility of cryptocurrencies as currency, which is causing concerns in the crypto community.
Binance NFT has started supporting Bitcoin NFTs, signaling a potential expansion in the NFT universe. This development comes alongside the live mint of @metabrc, opening a new chapter in the BTC NFT ecosystem.
Etherscan has introduced a new feature: advanced filtering. This tool simplifies the process of searching for specific on-chain data by providing several filter options, such as transaction type, function signature, age, from and to address, amount, and asset type.
The crypto community hopes for more functionality in Etherscan's new feature, such as AND clauses on 'from' and 'to' fields, more function signatures from the ABI, and custom amount filters.
